Divorce Impacts Your Kids!!!

I've had to face many difficult things in my life, but none compare to having to tell my children of 7 and 11 years of age that their "mom and dad" will no longer be married after some15 years of togetherness.  As I had to wrestle with "MY" own reality that my wife now wanted out of our marriage, I was "troubled deeply" by the impact divorce would have on my two children, both short-term and long-term.  Would they understand?  Would they adapt?  Would they feel insecure?  Would they become depressed?  Would they suffer emotionally? Would they drop academically?  Yes, a million thoughts raced through my mind as their Dad.  To say the least, it was not easy!
