Georgia Counseling Services Vision
- It is a dream of establishing a network of Faith-Based Counseling Centers where the hurting, the stressed, the weary, the depressed, the lonely, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, healing, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement through God and others.
- It is a dream of counseling the total person: physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally through Biblical counsel and practical instruction of Licensed Professional Counselors.
- It is a dream of developing and administering the Before "U" Divorce Workshop (B4UD) to thousands of marriages in Northeast Georgia and beyond to give a realistic look at the effects of divorce on children, families, churches, and society. The B.4.U.D Workshop is meant to offer HOPE to hurting and stuggling marriages because it emphasises forgiveness and reconciliation over the option of separation and divorce.
- It is a dream of providing care and encouragement to those who have experienced the trauma of separation and/or divorce. This includes meeting both the emotional and relational needs of one's children.
- It is a dream of offering instruction and training to those who seek to re-enter the dating world as well as give consideration to Remarriage and Blended Family Living. GCS seeks to be a resource for families who are "challenged" with navigating through "Blended Family" issues. Offering first hand advice, Dr. Bud Wohlhueter can encourage and equip you in this arena of family life.
